we'll treat

YOUR KIDS

like they're our own

Come over literally whenever you want.

You know that mom friend you have? Whose kids are a little older, who’s so damn relaxed about how messy her house is? Your go-to whenever you have a question about diapers, shampoo brands, or poop color ('cause you know she's seen it all)?

That’s the energy we’re looking to bring to your session.

There’s not much your kid can do that will surprise us, and even if they do, we’re hard-wired to handle it in stride…

…because our kids would probably do the same thing.

So, from one set of moms in the thick of it to you – Seriously.

Come on over, whenever you want.

You're my kind of people →

WHY

Because just like you,
our kids inspire us
in all that we do.

We know our name is a little silly.. and well, that's kind of the point. It’s happy, fun, and it sounds like one of those gibberish words our toddlers say that turn into family vernacular.

MEET MARI
(your photographer)

I was 23, freshly married and dreaming big about creating art and making my mark in the world. I fought through near-crippling feelings of inadequacy from the moment I found out I was pregnant

I didn't know what I was doing; I just knew I wanted my kids to grow up feeling loved.

Six years later, I look at the messy, sticky art that we've created and feel pride. Our little family of five has been a safe space for all of us as we've navigated the more excruciating and confusing parts of life.

Looking back, I see that starting a family isn't something that you can fully prepare for; it's something you grow into, and alongside... and I'm so friggin passionate about capturing every bit of that messy middle for our clients.

The sunshiney, summer lovin’ half of this sister partnership. You’ll find me on IG, in the DMs, and answering your texts once you reach out.

For me, motherhood came way before I felt ready. I was 22, freshly married and dreaming big about creating art and making my mark in the world. I fought through near-crippling feelings of inadequacy from the moment I found out I was pregnant

I got married and had my daughter when I was in my 30's.

We've had dark seasons, both as a marriage and as a family struggling to grow - so pictures and stories of polished families don't resonate with me.

When I think of Sunnypop, I'm always considering the different seasons that families go through.

I don't want to leave anyone behind.

Your family isn't too messy, too imperfect, or too small.

Your story is worthy of being captured.

Not "someday" when it "gets better,"
but now.

Our down-to-earth, dark humored, logistical all-star.
I’ll be behind-the-scenes making sure every detail of your experience is taken care of.

In my experience, family is something you fight for every day.

EXTRA MILE

"I really liked how you engaged with the kids. It means a lot when others go the extra mile to connect with them."
